Mono Type Festival

A festival about monospaced type deserved an identity built on the grid itself. Every layout snaps to a character cell; every poster is, literally, a text file.

One width for every letter

The kinetic titles type themselves in real time, with a blinking cursor as the only decorative element. Speakers’ names are revealed at the speed of a keystroke.

Posters that compile

Posters were generated from a small script, so each speaker received a unique composition set from the same rules — 48 variations, one voice.
